3rd Phase Of LS Polls: Amit Shah To Hold Mega Roadshow In Assam On Monday

Amid the election atmosphere prevailing across India, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is all set to hold a massive road show in Guwahati on April 29. 

A large number of supporters are expected to attend the roadshow in the presence of Amit Shah and its aim is to reach out to voters just before the third phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024. 

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has confirmed the visit of the Union Home Minister to Guwahati on April 29.

Giving information about the arrangements for the event, the Assam Chief Minister said that the grand road show will be held between the Cycle Factory- Lal Ganesh area of the city. 

The Chief Minister said that a road show will be organized from the cycle factory to Lalganesh in Guwahati. CM Sarma said that the road show will be carefully planned to ensure the grandeur of the event while minimizing traffic disruption in the surrounding area. 

He said that keeping in mind the issues like traffic jam in the city as well as inconvenience caused to the people, only a two-kilometre road show would be organised.

While talking to the media, CM said that we will win in Guwahati by a margin of 5 lakh votes. The Chief Minister also said that the people of the state have immense love for the BJP and claimed that only 'Modi Tsunami' is going on in the country. 

Let us tell you, voting will be held in Guwahati parliamentary constituency during the third phase on 7th May.

Earlier on April 9, Amit Shah had campaigned in Lakhimpur, where he campaigned for party candidate Pradan Barua and later the same day took part in a road show in Tinsukia for Dibrugarh Lok Sabha candidate Sarbananda Sonowal. Shah reached Karimganj on 21 April where he held a road show in Silchar for Parimal Suklabaidya.
