Public Blocked Road, Attacks Power Service Provider Office For Electricity in Kailashahar

As heat wave continue in Tripura water crisis has reached extreme levels in various places of the state. According to the repory on the night of April 26th Kalboishakhi storm caused power outage in the entire city of Kailashahar Sub-division. 

Since then there is no water in many house, there is no electricity. There is a cry for water and electricity in the whole city. Meanwhile, mobs repeatedly attacked Sai Company's office for electricity. People also attacked Tilabazar and Dolugao electricity sector offices.

" it is not possible to turn on the overall electricity right now", the SAI company said. It may be noted that the poles of electricity have been bent and the power conductors have been torn due to the Kalboisakhi storm. The employees of TSECL are struggling to repair them. 

As a result of the  on the one hand people do not have electricity in their homes, on the other hand there is no drinking water due to the lack of electricity. As a result public suffering has become extreme. 

According to the report  it may take a few more days to normalize the electricity service. However, efforts to overcome the catastrophic situation continue. 

As a result of the power failure, the supply of drinking water has been stopped, but no alternative measures have been taken so far. There is a strong demand to the administration to take necessary steps in this regard.

The people of the city are protesting by blocking the road in front of the office of Sai Computer Limited, a private power company in Kailashahar due to power outage. On 26th of this month, electricity poles were broken in different areas of the city due to heavy rain. Power lines snap and huge trees fall on power lines. As a result of which electricity service is stopped in the entire Kailasahar. 

As a result, the locals are in trouble and even after informing the private power company Sai Computer Limited of Kailashahar, allegedly nothing has been done.

The city residents protest by blocking the road in front of the office of Sai Computer Limited, the private power company in Kailashahar under Unakoti distric. Due to the blocking of this road, many vehicles and pedestrians were stuck on both sides of the road. 

As a result, traffic jams  created. A large contingent of police and TSR under the leadership of Kailashar Sub-Divisional Police Officer Jayanta Karmakar rushed to the spot after receiving information about the incident. Besides, DCM Matiranjan Debbarma  rushed to the spot after receiving the news of the incident. They came and talked with the besiegers for a long time. But the blockaders claim that they will not lift the blockade until power service is restored. 

Although the road was blocked for a long time, the road was cleared with the assurance of quick restoration.
